Pastor’s Recommendation
It is a great privilege to be able to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Brett and Jenny Hoffman. It’s been exciting to watch God’s clear leading in calling the Hoffman’s as missionaries to New Zealand.
Brett and Jenny have been actively involved in many different aspects of our ministry. They teach our 5th and 6th grade Sunday School class, lead our children’s choir, serve each Sunday morning by preparing items for our Welcome Center, and are intricately involved in every church event.
Additionally, Jenny has served as our church secretary for over 10 years. The Hoffman’s are a couple who have built their life around the church and serving the Lord, and they do a great job because they are committed to going above and beyond to do everything with excellence.
For several years, Brett and Jenny have sought for more ways to be involved. Brett has come to me on multiple occasions with tears in his eyes telling me his desire to do more for God. Brett works full-time for AT&T and has an unusual schedule, but this hasn’t stopped him from being passionate about the ministries he’s involved in. Serving in all these different capacities has not been a burden on Brett and Jenny, it has truly been a joy for them. I was not at all surprised when they told me they believed God was calling them to the mission field. It made sense. They are looking to do more for God and are willing to go wherever He leads them. These are choice servants of God being used by God in special ways.
We as a church are excited about sending Brett and Jenny out of our church to New Zealand. We will miss them terribly, but we are extremely excited to see how God will use them! I highly recommend the Hoffman’s and believe they would make a great addition to your mission’s program.
